LOVE

Greater love has hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.  John 15:13 ASV

I love dogs!  I pass my husband on the couch and give my dog a kiss of affection.  I am working on this behavior but I must admit he does the same thing.

My husband has been in the middle of several dog fights.  We were afraid that he was going to actually lay down his life a few times to keep the dogs safe.  In the end, we’ve only suffered cuts, bites and a broken bone due to these skirmishes.

Jesus loves me!  He loves you!  He never passes us by to give his affection to the next person.  His love and His mercies are new every morning and this love is aimed directly at you.

Jesus did lay down his life for each one of us so we could experience His love individually.  You are never alone; never unloved.  I John 3:1a states, “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!  And that is what we are!”.

God loves us so much that He gave His only Son to die for us that we might become his children.  Jesus loves us so much that he came to earth and lived among us.  He willingly gave his life that we might live life abundant and free with Him.  You are loved!
